Social and Moral Development Lab

Description:
The Social and Moral Development Lab (directed by Dr. Melanie Killen) is looking for several undergraduate students to join our research group! The lab studies moral development and inter-group relations from young childhood through adolescence. Current projects focus on fairness, social inequality, prejudice, stereotyping, peer relationships, and exclusion. RAs will work closely with graduate students and the PI, gaining valuable research experience in developmental science. RA experience can be a beneficial addition to graduate school applications, and can provide an opportunity to earn letters of recommendation or references for positions post-graduation.

Responsibilities:
-Participant recruitment
-Data collection with children and adolescents
-Data entry, transcribing, and coding
-Regular lab group meetings

Qualifications:
-3.0 minimum GPA
-Highly motivated
-Detail-oriented
-Interest in developmental and social psychology
