The ARC of Prince George's County offers a lifetime of support, understanding, and opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Providing support through a variety of programs and services that match each person or family's individual needs, The ARC ensures that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are given the skills, access, and information they need to fully participate as citizens in their communities. 
 
Responsibilities:
Full-Time position (40 hours)
Implements and documents outcomes/goals
Maintains monthly contact with families/individuals
Accounts accurately for participants’ spending
Ensures that staff actively assists individuals with community activities
Promotes activity planning in the home and community
Ensures medical and mental health appointments are completed on time
Organizes and completes all plans and records within specified time frames
Actively encourages family involvement

Qualifications:
BA/BS in a related field plus working experience
Need reliable transportation to travel to meetings or transport program participants, on occasion
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
Ability to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen
Successful candidates will be paid to complete approximately 52-72 hours of Developmental Disability Administration trainings
