Attend this introductory workshop to the Federal Job Search process that will explore the following questions:

- What federal jobs do I qualify for based on my educational level and academic major?

- How do I decide on which agencies to target?

- What is the federal resume and how does this differ from the private industry format?

- How do I navigate USAJOBS, the Office of Personnel Management’s main website for federal government jobs?

- How can I earn “best qualified” status and get referred to a hiring official? - What specific federal hiring programs exist for college students and recent grads?

Presenter's Bio: Mr. Steve Young is a Certified Federal Career Coach and Job Search Trainer through the Federal Career Training Institute in Catonsville, MD and teaches federal career courses for Howard and Prince George’s Community Colleges. He is also an Academic Advisor with the University of Maryland Department of Psychology!
