The UMD Department of Psychology is hosting its third annual, FREE one day Summer Diversity Research Conference Wednesday, July 15th, 9:15 am-1:00 pm. Presentations will focus on current directions in research and practice on cultural competence and diversity, with a focus on its link to psychological processes across disciplines. Invited speakers from UMD include Jennifer Wessel, Ph.D. (Department of Psychology), Jonathan Mohr Ph.D. (Department of Psychology), Jing Yu, Doctoral Student, UMBC, and Jasmine Wheeler, Doctoral Student, UMD. Our outstanding list of external speakers includes Kimberly Noble, MD, Ph.D. (Columbia University), Robin Pollini, PhD, MPH (Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation).
