Six weeks taking two academic courses
Six weeks participating in a professionally relevant internship
The Boston University Summer Study Internship Program is open to visiting, non-Boston University undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of college by the start of the program. Students must be in good academic and judicial standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Please note that admission to the Psychology Research & Practice track is especially competitive. Students applying to this track must have completed a minimum of three years of college coursework by the start of the program.
The Summer Study Internship Program is open only to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents. International students are not eligible to participate in the program.
Students are accepted into one of eight academic tracks and must enroll in the full 10-credit program: two Summer 1 courses, an internship course, and a Summer 2 internship.
Application:
Applications to the Summer Study Internship Program are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible.
Application Procedure
The Summer Study Internship Program application consists of an application form, a $50 application fee, a personal statement explaining why you want to attend the BU Summer Study Internship Program, your résumé, and your official college transcript(s). Apply HERE
