Faces & Voices of Recovery is seeking a Research Assistant who will work half-time on a 6-week project that involves drafting national practice guidelines for mental health and addiction recovery peers. The Research Assistant will report to and work with the Director of Programs. The Research Assistant (RA) will perform tasks that will assist in the overall development of the guidelines. Attention to detail, ability to handle tasks with accuracy and speed, prioritize, and meet deadlines required.

Specific Tasks

-Sort and catalogue assembled materials
-Review all materials and extract raw data
-Organize and synthesize data into draft environmental scan report
-Conduct correspondence regarding any gaps, concerns, or questions with submitted materials
-Assist in developing first draft of guidelines
-Conduct communication to organize guidelines workgroup
-Assist in guidelines workgroup meeting calls
-Other duties as assigned by Director of Programs

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-Experience conducting literature and document reviews
-Excellent writing skills
-Analytical and critical thinking skills
-Interpersonal communication skills
-Organizational skills
