The Ivymount School serves over 200 students with special needs, ages 4 through 21, from throughout the Washington, DC area. Named twice by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Ivymount has been providing educational programs and therapeutic services for students with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, speech/language deficits, learning disabilities, and health impairments, for 50 years.

The Ivymount Autism Program serves students with autism, ages 5 to 21 in an education school setting. We are a community based program providing a functional life skills curriculum, language rich programming and research based assessment, education, and treatment. We serve as a training site for ABA instructors who participate in our intensive training program. We provide BCBA supervision and work with university prog
rams to provide course work toward certification.
