Description:
RAs will work with a database containing information about suicide attacks and the individuals and organizations that committed them. Although several databases of suicide attacks exist, none thus far have systematically coded for the motives (stated and unstated) of the attackers and organizations responsible for the attacks.
Responsibilities:
-Locate, enter, and code information about the stated or unstated (possible) motives of individual attackers and organizations
-Search for open-source materials on the attacks, attackers, and organizations
Qualifications:
-Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
-Detail-oriented, self-starter, dependable
-Excel and Internet experience
-Available to work 3+ hours per week
-Able to read sensitive and/or controversial material and maintain an objective, mature, and scientifically responsible perspective
