Undergraduate Research Assistant Positions
Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER)

Description:
The Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER) within the UMD Psychology Department is seeking undergraduate research assistants for a longitudinal, clinical Child Study. The study examines low risk (e.g. riding in car without a seat belt) and high risk behavior (e.g., smoking, alcohol use, and sexual activity) among emerging adolescents. Research Assistants can volunteer for a minimum of 6 hours per week or earn PSYC 479 credit, two credits for 6 hours and 3 credits for 9 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
-Data Entry
-Date Verification
-Direct interaction with participants and their families
-Discussion and analysis of scholarly research articles
-Information and guidance for graduate school
