The University Career Center & The President's Promise sponsors opportunities for students to visit employer sites from various industries. Seats on the shuttle are limited-- RSVP today! Our tour and information session will be hosted by the National Museum of American History. However, an overview of internship opportunities in the other museums will be provided, as well.
ORGANIZATION INFORMATION: As the world’s largest museum complex, the Smithsonian spans 19 museums, the National Zoo, cutting edge research facilities, and extensive education and outreach programs across the world. At any given time, the Smithsonian employs 6,000 staff members, and hosts thousands of researchers, volunteers, and over 1,300 interns yearly. The Smithsonian is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and operates museums and facilities in New York, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Massachusetts, Arizona, and Panama. APPROPRIATE ATTIRE: Minimum attire for ALL trips is business casual unless otherwise specified.
