Presented by the National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP), and hosted by oSTEM at Ohio State University, Out to Innovate 2012 offers a variety of noted professionals who will share their insights on leadership, mentoring, workplace opportunities, and career choices for LGBTQ students, faculty, and career professionals.

 The two day format features:
-Keynote Speaker: Nergis Mavalvala, MIT Professor of Physics, 2012 MacArthur "Genius Grant" Recipient
-Motivational Speaker: Kei Koizumi, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy
-Gala NOGLSTP Recognition Awards Dinner
-Career Fair and Recruiters

-Workshops consisting of Out on Campus, Being a Minority within a Minority, Mentoring and Career Advancement, Gender Identity and Gender Expression in the STEM Workplace, Out and Accomplished, STEM careers in government, health care, research, engineering, information technology, biological sciences, physical sciences
