Position Description:
Associate therapists are critical members of a child’s therapy team. They deliver the majority of a child’s individualized therapy hours based on the plans and protocols developed by the Clinical Coordinator, and collect data on a child’s progress. For individuals hoping to have a long-term career working with children with developmental delays, this is an excellent entry point to the field and introduction to a career as a Board Certified Behavior analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:
•Work consistently as part of a team to ensure that clients receive the highest quality therapy
•Implement individualized ABA programs in client’s homes, schools, community, and/or the Little Leaves center
•Follow specific protocol for each client
•Collect data throughout each session in a timely and efficient manner
•Create program materials for individual clients as needed
•Report client progress to supervisor
•Attend periodic team meetings for each client
•Shadow children in the inclusive setting and facilitate structured playgroups
•Participate in introductory and ongoing training programs that provide instruction in ABA
•Be energetic, creative, and imaginative when working with children who have developmental delays
•Keep therapy appointments as per schedule. Be punctual and responsible when managing client schedule throughout the week.
