The Department of Psychology Office of Undergraduate Studies is pleased to welcome all new freshmen and transfer students to the University of Maryland as well as welcome back all returning PSYC Terps! The OUS Staff is ready to assist you as you embark on your Maryland educational journey. Our office is located in Suite 1121 of the Biology-Psychology Building. We offer a diverse range of advising services to psychology majors through our Walk-In Advising Hours, 10 am-12 pm Monday-Friday and 1:00-3:00 pm Monday-Wednesday, as well as through scheduled appointments. If your needs require a sufficient amount of time it is recommended that you contact the office at 301-405-5866 to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor. Some examples of common advising services include:
· assisting you with strategies for degree completion, university policies, career and internship opportunities
· social and personal adjustment to university life
· preparation for graduate study
· opportunities to enrich your undergraduate experience.
