Thinking about going into the law profession? Need tips on getting into law school? Wonder what careers are out there in the field of law? We have the perfect workshop for you!

The Maryland Alumni Association, Student Government Association, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Robert H. Smith School of Business, Letters & Sciences Pre-Law Advising Office, and the University Career Center and President's Promise are proud to present Alumni Connections: Careers in the Field of Law. Use this opportunity to gain insight into what it takes to get into law school, explore the numerous professions available to those with a law degree and network with alumni who work in the field.

TIME: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Orem Alumni Hall, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center

This workshop will begin with Law School 101, featuring a panel discussion on the basics of getting into and surviving law school. The workshop will conclude with roundtable dinner discussions with alumni who are currently working in various fields of law based on individual's interests. A light dinner will be provided.
