The University of Maryland is beginning its search for a student speaker for the December commencement ceremony. Students who wish to apply must have a GPA of 3.50 or higher and have completed at least 60 credits at the University of Maryland, College Park. All applications will be acknowledged. Finalists will be interviewed in early November, and the speaker will be chosen by mid-November.
The deadline to apply is October 21, 2011.
