ORAM (http://www.oraminternational.org) is looking for committed, highly-qualified interns for the fall 2011semester to assist with research and writing on issues relevant to asylum and refugee claims based on gender identity and sexual orientation. In addition, we occasionally accept interns and volunteers to help with grant writing and research, non-profit management, publicity, event planning, communications and outreach, translation projects, and information technology/help desk work.
ORAM encourages students from the following disciplines to apply for internship positions:
Communications, Journalism, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Gender Studies, International Studies, Social Work, Political Science, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Translation, interpretation, Language, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
