Our research examines the neural correlates of memory development using behavioral and electrophysiological (EEG/ERP) measures. Therefore, this research opportunity is best suited for someone who is interested in both cognition and development. It requires technical skills and computer knowledge as well as the ability to interact with families and children. Please see our website for more details on our ongoing studies: http://www.bsos.umd.edu/psyc/riggins/ This individual will help with paradigm and stimulus development, behavioral and electrophysiological data collection, participant recruitment, scheduling, data base management, and literature reviews. A 3-page document describing their activities during the semester and what they learned regarding memory development and research methodology in general. There will be weekly lab meetings and small group project meetings. Start date is May 2011 Note: **Two or Three semester commitment preferred Skills required are proficiency with computers including MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is essential.
